Updates on moderation and rules
Greetings r / animation, This subreddit is now being actively moderated again. The following list describes what’s new and changed: * Rule 2 has been added to clarify how submissions are handled here. For the most part, this has already been enforced by bots, but it led to frequent confusion due to it not being revealed in the new Reddits design. * Rule n has been added. 3 to put restrictions on posts looking to hire animators for money. The requirements for such positions are similar to job postings on r / animationcareer and should make the process cleaner and more standardized for both sides. * The “Seeking Collaboration” style has been added. This style should be used for positions looking to hire animators for a project where financial compensation for animators is not present or is not guaranteed. * Rule n has been added. 4 to specify what is expected to be disclosed for projects in the ‘Seeking Collaboration’ category. The requirements are intended to help form an opinion as to whether a project is worth investing time in. * With the rules n. 3 and n. 4, Posts by people with no animation experience looking for free animation are now banned. This should reflect how the community is currently treating these posts. * [Edit t+4h]: Added rule n. 5 to clarify the implicitly assumed rules, such as the previous point. The list of concrete examples may be expanded in the future. This is primarily to prevent definition discussions from happening twice. & # x200B; Any suggestions, comments and wishes regarding the rules and moderation are welcome. So if you have anything, feel free to leave a comment. Happy cheering
